Raised in Summerfield, North Carolina, I had the privilege of experiencing a tight-knit family community and a childhood filled with endless possibilities for exploration and creativity.

The creation of the brand, Summerfield Candle Co., was a natural extension of my deep connection to the place I called home. I intentionally chose this name to honor my roots and capture the essence of my upbringing. My goal is to develop a brand identity that authentically reflects the spirit of Summerfield.

Inspired by the notion of “americana,” I aim to evoke a sense of nostalgia for a simpler time, harkening back to a romanticized view of American life. Through my brand, I strive to transport others to a place where they can reminisce about the past and find solace in its simplicity.

Growing up in a small town had taught me to appreciate the beauty found in life’s uncomplicated moments. It instilled in me a mindset that resists the urge to overcomplicate things and embraces the inherent charm of simplicity.
